Nidalese HorselordSource Hellfire Dispatches pg. 32The Umbral Court of Pangolais has held Nidal as its unquestioning thrall for millennia.
Zon-Kuthon is its one and only master, and to many of the country's citizens, it seems inconceivable that anyone could escape his chains. Most accept this fate as stoically as possible. But with Gorum's recent death, some have gained the strength to finally fight back. After all, if one god could perish, why not another?
Many riders of the Atteran Ranches have begun to gather under the banner of Horselord Iriatykis after she forged the spear known as Shadowpiercer from a fallen piece of Gorum. Iriatykis's crusade has brought hope to a place that never believed it possible. Now, war casts its own shadow over Nidal. The freedom of the riders and their horses is at stake, and perhaps even Zon-Kuthon's dominion may crumble.
You count yourself as one of the horselords who are ready to take up arms against the Midnight Lord and his Umbral Court. Whether you were born into one of the ancient, close-knit families of the Uthori Steppes and learned to sit in the saddle before you could walk or have spent years working for the stoic ranchers, you have formed a strong bond with one of the nation's breeds of horses. From the swift, stoic nidarrmar to the wild, gray-dappled chiardmar, these animals are considered by many to be the finest horses across Golarion. Their lineages are as familiar to you as your own blood kin and are equally dear.
Through your connection to a Nidalese horse, you understand the hardships suffered by the nation's people. You perhaps even survived them yourself. It is time to fight back against the darkness, so that all this suffering is not in vain.
Additional Feats
Source Player Core pg. 215 Spring 2026, 1st PrintingSome archetypes include a list of “Additional Feats” that appear in other sources. The list includes each feat’s level, which might be different than normal when gained from the archetype. You can take the feat as an archetype feat of that level, meaning it counts toward the number of feats required by the archetype’s dedication feat. When selected this way, a feat that normally has a class’s trait (such as the fighter trait) doesn’t have that class trait.

Steel Falcon* This version of the Favored Terrain feat is intended for use with an archetype and has a different level for access than the
original feat.
You have studied a specific terrain to overcome its challenges. Choose aquatic, arctic, desert, forest, mountain, plains, sky, swamp, or underground as your favored terrain. When in that terrain, you can ignore the effects of non-magical difficult terrain. If you have the unimpeded journey class feature, you gain a second benefit while in your favored terrain, depending on your choice:
- Aquatic You gain a swim Speed equal to your Speed. If you already had a swim Speed, you instead gain a +10-foot status bonus to your swim Speed.
- Arctic You need to eat and drink only one-tenth as much as usual, you aren’t affected by severe or extreme cold, and you can walk across ice and snow at full Speed without needing to Balance.
- Desert You need to eat and drink only one-tenth as much as usual, you aren’t affected by severe or extreme heat, and you can walk along sand at full Speed without needing to Balance.
- Forest, Mountain, or Underground You gain a climb Speed equal to your Speed. If you already had a climb Speed, you instead gain a +10-foot status bonus to your climb Speed.
- Plains You gain a +10-foot status bonus to your land Speed.
- Sky You gain a +10-foot status bonus to your fly Speed, if you have one.
- Swamp You can move across bogs at full Speed, even if they are deep enough to be greater difficult terrain or to normally require you to Swim.

Rivethun InvolutionistPrerequisites Animal Companion* This version of the Mature Animal Companion (Druid) feat is intended for use with an archetype and has a different level for access than the
original feat.
Your animal companion has grown up over the course of your adventures, becoming a mature animal companion and gaining
additional capabilities.
Your animal companion has greater independence. During an encounter, even if you don't use the Command an Animal action, your animal companion can still use 1 action that round on your turn to Strike or Stride (or Burrow, Climb, Fly, or Swim if it has that Speed). It can do this at any point during your turn, as long as you aren’t currently taking an action. If it does, that’s all the actions it gets that round—you can’t Command it later.
